His growing enthusiasm for printmaking led to collaborations with publishers across the United States, Switzerland, Japan, Germany, France, Denmark and the Netherlands. The Pop Shop IV works were issued in different formats, including individual compositions and Quad prints, highlighting Haring’s extraordinary productivity and his ability to adapt his visual language to multiple printed formats.

Although designed to be reproduced, each print reflects Haring’s careful attention to colour, composition and visual balance. This combination of accessibility, technical precision and instantly recognisable imagery has contributed to the enduring appeal of the Pop Shop series.
