Growing 5 - by Keith Haring Poster 75x100 cm / 30x40″

Discover the bold energy and universal language of Keith Haring’s Growing 5.

This striking print transforms simple lines, vivid colours, and interconnected figures into a powerful celebration of movement, unity, and human connection.

A strong sense of pattern is created through Haring’s angular lines, flattened picture plane, and simplified forms. Using a limited palette of four vivid colours – red, blue, yellow, and green – Haring creates an image that feels playful and instantly accessible to both children and adults. The simplified figures interlock and flow into one another, emphasising a sense of community, togetherness, and the strength that comes from working as one.

Haring’s use of symmetry along a vertical central axis, combined with his abundance of expressive marks, reveals an affinity with the visual languages of Australian Aboriginal and Aztec art. Across Growing 5, concentric circles, organic curves, zigzags, and energetic figures form an abstract pictorial system that guides the viewer’s eye continuously across the composition.

With its bold graphic language and dynamic rhythm, Growing 5 captures the distinctive visual vocabulary that made Keith Haring one of the most recognisable artists of the 20th century.
